Courtney Merfeld | Director of Sports & Events

Courtney Merfeld joined CMPR in 2008 and works on all sports related accounts and events including ESPN, Sugar Ray Leonard, The Contender, pre-Superbowl Events, pre-ESPY events and more.

Prior to joining CMPR, Courtney worked for the Los Angeles Lakers during the 2007-2008 season. During this time, she worked closely with the players and media handling numerous PR requests, facilitating player and media relations, and working on the Lakers’ monthly newsletter.

Previously Courtney worked in PR for The AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, The Walmart First Tee Open at Pebble Beach, and in sports production at CBS2/KCAL 9.

Courtney graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication.

She currently resides in Manhattan Beach, CA.
